BBQ Cook-off continues to gain Sponsors

During this campaign I have heard the need to continue to support Uptown and work toward an effort to build more festivals for the citizens and to help promote Lexington.

Last year, myself along with the Uptown Lexington Board did just that by adding a Cook-off for the Uptown area. I served as the Chairman of the Sponsorship committee and during the first year (2011) we were very successful. Let me thank all the 1st year sponsors and the committee, Tim Reagan, Michael Holhouser, Mike Turlington, Chad Hodges, Toby Prince and Jo Ellen Edwards -- just to name a few.
