Lexington Community Foundation

Two nights ago, Jennifer and I attended a reception at the home of Terry and Sandra Reynolds -- benefiting the Lexington Area Community Foundation. A foundation under the umbrella of the Foundation of the Carolinas.

Thank you goes out to Terry and Sandra for opening their home and hosting a wonderful, will attened reception. Also I enjoyed hearing Michael Marsicano, President and CEO of the Foundation of the Carolinas, speak on the foundation and how it benefits our community and the organizations it helps.

H.O.P.E. Forum

This Sunday afternoon I attended the final community forum organized by community organization -- H.O.P.E. (Helping Organize People Effectively). I wanted to thank Connie Russell and the H.O.P.E. board for putting on a well organized event. We started on time and finished on time. Also, thank you to the citizens and other community organization for turning out to hear the candidates and showing their commitment to change.

Thank you again to H.O.P.E. and I look forward to working with you all soon.

New Faith Full Gospel Fellowship Center

This past Sunday morning I was able to attend the New Faith Full Gospel Fellowship Center and visit with Bishop Kelly and his congregation. I can not thank you enough for such a warm welcome. The fellowship was great, the music wonderful (Perrell is amazing on the Sax), and Bishop Kelly's message was timely.

Thank you again for such a wonderful reception and I look forward to visiting again soon.
